In response to customer demand, PRS Guitars has added two new guitars to their SE line.
The SE EG is a rebirth of the 1992 EG model, tweaked for today's player. The guitar features a top routed, solid mahogany body with a pickguard, three single-coil pickups with 5-way selector, a set-in mahogany neck, and tremolo or stop tail option. The 22-fret neck is graced by moon inlays. The SE EG is available in Antique White with totoise shell pickguard, Metallic Red with white pickguard and Metallic Blue with white pickguard.
The SE Soapbar includes a single cutaway, solid mahogany body, a set-in mahogany neck and two specially voiced Soapbar pickups with a three-way switching system. The instrument is available in translucent Vintage Cherry and Black Sunburst which starts out as a gray-black that fades to opaque black at the edges.
Both instruments come in the PRS gig bag and will be available January 2004.
