SoundToys (formerly Wave
Mechanics) announced the
latest version of the UltraTools bundle, version 2.4, which supports Digidesign's new Pro-Tools|HD Accel card. The new version of
UltraTools also includes two producer libraries with over
70 new remix, guitar and mixdown presets for SoundBlender.
UltraTools 2.4 for HD|Accel offers power to tune vocals,
create custom vocal harmonies, adjust both the tempo or pitch
independently or get effects such as Chorusing, Flanging, Delays, etc.
Available immediately, this upgrade is free for registered owners of
UltraTools| HD 2.2 and 2.3 bundles as well as for registered owners of
SoundToy's individual HD compatible plug-ins.

SoundBlender brings together the

for pitch and tempo changes on a user's defined graph, and the
calculator makes it easy to re-tempo or change key for sample loops
PitchDoctor is pitch
correction software for Pro Tools TDM systems. Simply enter the desired
key and scale, and Pitch Doctor automatically adjusts the intonation of
any out-of-tune notes. PitchDoctor, using formant correction, can alter vocals without the infamous
chipmunk effect.
Using PurePitch, users can easily create harmony parts from a
lead vocal or instrument, deepen a vocal part without changing its
pitch, or add vibrato to a flat performance. For voice-over work,
PurePitch can be used to alter the formants and pitch inflections of a
speaker, producing subtle character alterations, or more extreme
morphing effects.
