Teaching Music with Reason Now Available

Propellerhead Software has released Teaching Music with Reason, a
new product designed exclusively for educational use.
Based on a specially adapted version of Reason, this new package is a
unique combination of software and lesson-based materials that
represent a new approach to teaching music creation. Designed for use
by high school teachers in class music lessons, it can also be used
as a basis for college level introductory modules in Music or Music
Technology.
At the heart of the package is a 220 page printed Teacher's Resource
File, containing lesson preparation notes, teaching plans, student
material and assessment sheets. Specially designed for the busy music
teacher, it contains everything required to teach the lessons,
without any previous experience of Reason. Also included are 10
printed student booklets, the Reason Adapted program for installation
on 10 computers, lesson song files in different contemporary styles,
PDF files of student material in A4 and US letter format, plus a full
Reason 2.5 for the teacher's own use.
The product is designed to allow integration with existing areas of a
particular national, state, or school curriculum, covering
fundamental skills that include listening, understanding basic
musical elements and applying technical knowledge in a creative
context.

distributors worldwide for a MSRP of $ 1595 US/1495 Euro.
