bioroid media development is offereing updated versions of their
free VST plugins: Turntablist Pro and Creakbox Bassline Demo. The plugins
are available on Windows and Mac (OS9/OSX) platforms and the current
versions fix a lot of minor bugs and compatibility issues.
Turntablist Pro 1.04 is a VST instrument that can load a sample and perform
turntable style effects on it. You can scratch, change pitch, and even spin
the audio up and down just like on a real turntable. Originally released
exclusively on the cover disc of Future Publishing's Computer Music magazine
in May 2003, TTP has been available for download online since July 2003.
The latest version now supports large samples for DJ-style mixing
performances.
Creakbox Bassline Demo 1.01 is a VSTi mono synth with a built in sequencer.
It has a 5 octave range and sounds much like a killer little box many
