MusicXPC's Professional M2 is the company's next step in its quest to create the best and fastest mobile workstation for musicians.
The M2 features two 7200rpm HDs; 1GB of DDR400 RAM; a peace-of-mind recovery utility that reverts the computer to yesterday's, last week's or factory state merely with a few keystrokes; a 17" WSXGA+ wide angle screen and the DVI out that lets you hook up a second monitor; a numeric keypad so you don't have to shift click to control the sequencer; a full Intel Pentium 4 desktop processor that puts performance ahead of battery life; Gigabit LAN to improve workflow and play projects stored on other computers via Ethernet; built in DVD+RW burner for archiving and more.
The processor used in the M2 is Intel's Pentium 4 HT 3.2GHz with 512K cache.
The Professional M2 is now available at music retailers such as SamAsh Music, Sweetwater Sound, Long& Mcquade, Korg SoundTree, CEV, ProSound Stage & Lightning and West L.A. Music.
