Cubase VST Gains Industry Wide Support

The number of ASIO-supporters and PlugIn developers for VST increases rapidly

March 11, 1998

Steinberg is very proud about the huge commitment of a wide range of Hardware- and Software Manufacturers to Cubase VST. The ASIO-System for advanced streaming of multi-channel digital audio from and to I/O devices with low latency and solid synchronisation now makes VST the technology the musician and the demanding producer can rely on.

Companies like Lexicon, Yamaha, Sonorus, Lucid Technologies, Event Electronics and much more are developing ASIO-Drivers for their I/O Hardware.

Not to forget Cubase VST's open architecture, there are PlugIns available for any kind of job, dealing with digital audio: Steinberg Spectral Design presents its range of proquality mastering and restoration PlugIns, Waves offers AudioTrack, The Native Power Pack, including the highly acclaimed TrueVerb, MaxxBass and the brand new DeEsser PlugIn.

The new company TC-Works, a devision of TC-Electronics brings us the TC Native Reverb.
