Peavey Releases TransFexTM 208s July 11, 1997
Peavey Electronics Corporation is first again, by offering the TransFex 208s, the
first compact two-channel stereo combo amp with a fully-programmable 24-bit stereo effects
processor. The TransFex 208s, which features our patented, award-winning TransTube analog
tube emulation technology, is designed for practice, rehearsals, small studios and clubs.
The TransFex 208s offers completely separate. selectable Lead and Clean channels. The on-board
24-bit stereo effects processor features seven different user-programmable effects (up to six at a
time), a built-in guitar tuner, an LED display, and a DSP Edge control so you can trim the high end
in the effects section for added warmth. There are also 30 user-definable patches and 30 factory
presets available with programmable master volume on the patches.
Other features include two 8" speakers, stereo power amp with 25 watts per channel, LED display,
reverb, delay, chorus, flange, phase shift, tremolo and rotary speaker with speed morphing,
seamless reverb and delay tail carryover during patch changes, built-in chromatic tuner, left and
right preamp outputs and power amp inputs. A foot controller is also included. The TransFex 208s
