Peavey Introduces XR 886 Mixer July 11, 1997
Peavey Electronics Corporation announces the introduction of the XRTM 886
mixer. The new XR 886 is a modern answer to "console-type" powered mixers.
Combining a roadworthy 2 x 300W power pack with the latest in DSP-based digital effects (the
same effects library as the DeltaFexTM), Peavey delivers a compact system with no compromises.
Dual 9-band graphic EQs with built-in FLS (Feedback Locating System) show the loudest
frequency band for simple feedback correction.
A protected master section configuration switch changes between "stereo L & R main" and "mono
main and mono monitor" mode without re-patching. Four combination mono mic / stereo line
channels allow both inputs to be active but routed either through the channel or directly to the L / R
bus for maximum control and flexibility, giving the XR 886 16 "real" inputs in an incredibly compact
footprint.
Features:
- 2 x 300W at 4 ohms power amp
- 16-bit digital reverb
- 8 low-, mic inputs with phantom power
- 4 stereo line inputs
- 3-band EQ with mid sweep
- Dual 9-band graphic EQs with Peavey's exclusive FLS ' (Feedback Locating System)
