Roland MA-9 and MA-4 Stereo Micro Monitors July 11, 1997
As the desktop/home music production market continues to grow, Roland Corporation is expanding its presence by introducing two new monitors aimed at creating music at home and/or with a computer: the MA-9 and the MA-4 Stereo Micro Monitors.
The MA-9 Stereo Micro Monitors offer the same great sound as Roland's popular MA-8's with the addition of a digital Mic Echo effect - ideal for karaoke applications. The MA-9's feature a 16-watt high-quality amplifier (8w/side x 2) driving a 4-inch woofer and a 1.5-inch tweeter for a defined, full-range sound. A front panel 1/4-inch mic input, headphone jack and Tone and Echo effect controls make tonal shaping intuitive.
The MA-4 Micro Stereo Monitors provide another great option for low-cost, high quality sound. A user-adjustable Stereo Presence control makes the MA-4 ideal for multimedia applications, while its built-in 8 watt amplifier (4w/side x 2) and independent Bass and Treble controls deliver digital sound quality. The MA-4's compact body is identical to the MA-9's, making it ideal for notebook-based multimedia presentations.
Magnetic shielding permits placement of both the MA-9 and the MA-4 near computer monitors, while their platinum color ensures that they will look at home with a variety of computer peripherals.
For karaoke fans and desktop/home music production enthusiasts on a budget, or PC users with who simply want better sound and music from their multimedia software, the MA-9 and the MA-4 Stereo Micro Monitors are the perfect audio partners.
