TC Tools Version 2.0 Adds 5-band EQ Plug-in

TC Tools, the high-end reverb and chorus TDM plug-in for Pro Tools®, just got stronger. TC Works has announced that the new Version 2.0 software will ship in
August of this year, offering powerful new features for the Pro Tools 4.0 user.
Along with many improvements, Version 2.0 includes EQSat(TM), a 5-band parametric EQ plug-in. EQSat uses SoftSat(TM) signal processing circuitry designed to create that warm analog sound often desired but seldom found on digital platforms. The effect gives similar results found with analog tape saturation or when using tube equipment.
EQSat's frequency response monitor is a tool in itself, providing extensive visual feedback on all relevant parameters. EQSat has 3 parametric bands and 2 shelving bands which can be applied with pinpoint accuracy.

Suggested retail price of TC Tools Version 2.0 software is $999 (U.S.). Registered TC Tools users may obtain Version 2.0 along with a new master disk and manual for $199 (U.S.). Simply send your original master disk and proof of purchase to Digidesign or to TC Electronic.
