Yamaha Introduces Club IV Series Speakers
July 11, 1997
In response to dealer requests for enhancements to the very successful Club Series speaker line, Yamaha Corporation of America, Professional Audio Products Department introduces new products to the Club Series speaker line. The new Club IV line features a 15-in. two-way speaker with a high-efficiency cast frame woofer and a 2-in. titanium high frequency driver, also available in the floor monitor style cabinet. The Club IV line also includes a 12-in. two-way speaker with woofer redesign for great low-end response. A newly designed 90 x 40 constant directivity horn yields extremely smooth coverage. An optional 60 x 40 horn is available. Top-of-the line models come equipped with ATMTM flyware pre-installed, lessening installation time.
"The new Club IV Series speaker line is perfect for many different applications," states John Schauer, product manager, Sound Reinforcement Products, Professional Audio Products Department. "This new line can certainly meet the needs of bands, clubs, church installations, and small theaters at an attractive price. Users will appreciate how smooth the high frequency coverage pattern is with the redesigned horn."
Two input jacks mounted on a metal jack plate allow for loop-through connections. Sockets for pole mounting are provided on all models. New rugged carpet-covered, trapezoid-style cabinets for seamless array arcs, and metal corner protectors protect speakers from extreme circumstances. The familiar oak finish has now been redesigned in the popular trapezoidal shape and is now paintable, with an easily changeable grill covering. All models have a redesigned crossover network for improved power handling and smooth frequency response.
The new Club IV Series speaker line is the perfect solution for sound contractors and end-users on sensitive budgets. Suggested retail price ranges from $199 to $529. For more information, visit their web site at www.yamaha.com. |
