Lexicon Studio System Supports 24-Bit Version of Cubase VST for PowerMac

(www.lexicon.com), the world's foremost manufacturer of digital effects processors for both live performance and studio/production applications, has announced their Lexicon Studio System will support Steinberg's Cubase VST/24 for the Mac OS. The announcement was made by Bob Reardon, Director of Product Management, Lexicon Desktop Products.
Lexicon Studio System is comprised of exceptional hardware components, providing I/O options, DSP, signal routing, synchronization and control hardware for leading industry software packages based on PC or Macintosh computer audio production systems.
Steinberg's Cubase VST provides the most acclaimed user interface, fast MIDI, audio editing, and plug-in support for popular host based packages such as Waves Native Power Pack, Arboretum's Hyperprism and Steinberg's own Spectral Design Plug-Ins. Commenting on the support of the Apple Macintosh 24-bit version of Steinberg's Cubase VST, Lexicon's Bob Reardon stated, "Steinberg's Cubase VST/24 offers complete digital studio software that includes total recall mixing with EQ and DSP effects, and completely integrated recording and editing of both audio and MIDI. The complete, basic Lexicon Studio System consisting of the Core-32 PCI Studio Engine, PC-90 Core Processing Engine, and LDI-12T Interface are now shipping; the Mac software and the LDI-16S Digital Interface are scheduled for shipment in the Fall of 1998.
