July 10, 1998The Trace Elliot TEK150 and 300 provide the ideal solution to the problems of needing to amplify one or more keyboards, plus vocals a portable, powerful package for the keyboard player who works in a variety of different and demanding situations.
1998 sees these well received combos enjoy something of a make-over, with an improved front panel layout and new black buffalo covering, identical to that found on Trace Elliot guitar amplification. Polished stainless steel corners and kickproof steel grilles are still featured and the TEK150 is manoeuvrable with a top mounted handle, whilst the bigger TEK300 has recessed metal side handles.
The four channel layout of the TEK150 and 300 includes a balanced mic input, while the EQ on each is simple and efficient. An effects loop (stereo in the case of the TEK300) is provided to allow the use of an out-board processing unit for vocals etc.
