Seer Systems Launches Seer Sounds Voices
And Samples July 26, 1999 Seer Systems has introduced the first four sets of Seer Sound voices
to support Reality
and SurReal synthesizer
software. In addition to added extra functionality to those programs,
Seer Sounds can stand alone and be played even without Reality or SurReal.
"It's a basic fact that good synths need good sounds and quality
sounds help support buyers of our SurReal and Reality software synthesizers,"
stated David Roach, VP Operations at Seer Systems.
Unlike other sound software available, the Seer Sounds' CDs include a
version of SurReal that allows the sounds to be played using most Windows/Pentium
computers. So the buyer gets immediate gratification without SurReal or
Reality to play these sounds live. SurReal adds the capabilities of easy
edit, MIDI set up and sequence player and the ability to combine the sounds
with other voices. When used with Reality, Seer Sounds are fully editable
in any of five synthesis formats (sampling, FM, physical modeling, analog
and modal).
While many sets of SeerSounds will be introduced throughout 1999, the
initial four CDs include a disk of Piano samples, Synthetic Sounds from
Italy's Sound Burst, and two sets of sample based sounds from Sonic Implants
of Boston, MA.
Suggested retail price is $69 for each package, which will be available
in Fall, 1999. For more information,
