VOX Unveils Cambridge 30 Reverb and Reverb
Twin
July 23, 1999 VOX Amplification continues
to expand their amplification line with the introduction of two new models,
the 1 x 10" Cambridge 30 Reverb and the 2 x 10" Cambridge 30 Reverb
Twin. Both of these two-channel amplifiers feature 12AX7 valves in their preamp
sections and Celestion Bulldog speakers.
The 30Watt Cambridge 30 Reverb and Cambridge 30 Reverb Twin are equipped with
individual Volume, Treble and Bass controls in their first channels, plus individual
Gain, Volume, Treble, Bass, Tremolo Speed, Tremolo Depth and Reverb controls
in their second channels. In addition, their second channels also feature both
Gain Boost and Mid Range Boost Switches. Line, headphone and extension speaker
outputs are standard equipment for both amplifiers as is an output for an optional
dual-footswitch to provide control over channel switching and tremolo.
Like all VOX amplifiers, these two new combo amps are covered in traditional
VOX basket-weave vinyl and diamond grill cloth, and use the classic pointer-style
knobs synonymous with VOX amplifiers since the British invasion of the '60s.
Senior Vice President, Mitch Colby, commented, "The new VOX Cambridge
30 Reverb and Cambridge 30 Reverb Twin amps are designed and built with the
same care and attention to sound, tone and style as all VOX amps since 1957.
We believe they will have great appeal to players looking for classic VOX tone
and style in a modern amplification package."
The new VOX Cambridge 30 Reverb and Cambridge 30 Reverb Twin amplifiers are
available in late Summer, 1999, with pricing to be announced shortly.
