The Unitor8 MkII is a 19", single rack-space, synchronizer and MIDI interface for Mac and Windows 98. Each unit has eight independently addressable MIDI input-output pairs. In addition, it can read and write SMPTE as LTC and VITC and can burn the time display into the video picture. The Unitor8 MkII allows for connection via USB port, RS-232 and RS-422 serial ports. The Unitor8 MkII is fully compatible with Emagic's Unitor8 and AMT8 interfaces and up to 8 units can be stacked to control complex MIDI studios. The Unitor8 MkII includes Emagic's unique AMT (Active MIDI Transmission) technology, eliminating the MIDI delay inherent in most other MIDI interface units. In addition the Unitor8 MkII's firmware is updateable via MIDI.

The AMT8, based on Emagic's successful Unitor8, 8x8 MIDI interface and synchronizer, does not include SMPTE synchronization. The AMT8 is fully compatible with Emagic's Unitor8 and Unitor8 MkII interfaces and up to 8 units can be stacked to control complex MIDI studios. The AMT8 includes Emagic's unique AMT (Active MIDI Transmission) technology, eliminating the MIDI delay inherent in most other MIDI interface units.
