Korg releases the newest edition to its line of tuners:
the GT-12 Guitar/Bass Chromatic Tuner, which features a comprehensive
LCD display, as well as a highly accurate VU-style meter and LED sharp/flat
indicators. This combination allows for versatility and visibility when
tuning, even in low-light situations. The smooth action VU-style meter
and LEDs instantly show accurate tuning, while the LCD displays the calibration
setting, flat mode, note name and battery condition.
In addition to auto and manual modes, the GT-12 also supports Open tuning,
with four standard open tunings - including E,A,D,G - as well as quadra-flat tuning
modes that can detect dropped pitches of up to four semi-tones. Ukulele tuning
is also included.
The GT-12 features a built in microphone, calibration in the range of 438-445
Hz, and ability to detect pitches from A0-C8. In addition, an onboard reference
tone oscillator is included.
The Korg GT-12 is powered by 2 AA batteries or an optional AC adapter. Availability
is Spring, 2000. The suggested retail price is $120.00.
