Kurzweil's newest and most affordable digital piano is designed to be
used in the home, the studio, or for education. The Troubador integrates
easily with the Kurzweil's KCL, educational keyboard teaching lab system.
Features include 88-note semi-weighted keys, stereo inputs and outputs,
and 2 headphones jacks. Sounds include Kurzweil's Grand Piano, Tine Electric
Piano, Ensemble Strings, Cathedral Pipe Organ, and Reverb; all in a portable
package. Stereo outputs, inputs, and 2 headphone jacks are also provided.
An optional kit for use with teaching lab can be easily installed. (Model
LE-1)
Kurzweil Music Systems also introduces the Kurzweil KCL (Kurzweil Computer
Lab). The KCL is the communications console and brain of the teaching
lab system. You can connect up to 16 Troubador digital electric pianos
using the optional two-way communication module. This allows the teacher
to listen and talk to individual students or groups. The console is specially
designed to assist the instructor in teaching keyboard performance skills,
music theory, etc. The Kurzweil KCL Controller can be linked with cables
to an additional KPC for a total of 32 students plus teacher. It has an
easy front panel for all teacher levels (mic, instrument, headphones,
tape and aux. in) The KCL allows a teacher to monitor groups and to communicate
with students either privately, in groups or as a whole class. Students
can practice solo, in pairs or in groups. The Kurzweil KCL is built in
cooperation with JL Cooper Electronics.
