March 10, 2000Designed to deliver the best value in sound reinforcement
speaker cabinets, Yorkville introduces new models to the Performance Series
Enclosures. With new looks and improved technology, Yorkville's Performance
Series now includes the Y118S passive subwoofer and the Y150M stage monitor.
Adding more versatility to the Performance Series, the Y150M combines all of
thecomponents of the current Y150 full range cabinet and puts them
into a high-output monitor cabinet. Sporting a 15" speaker and a
high-frequency driver incorporating a 2" titanium diaphragm, the Y150M
handles 300-watts @ 8 ohms, has a maximum SPL of 125dB, and a 90 degree
horn radius. It can also be used as an upright full range enclosure and
includes an adapter for mounting on stands.
Loaded with a heavy-duty 18" 8-ohm driver, the Y118S is a passive subwoofer
capable of pumping out 300 watts ofbass. The cabinet is
constructed of Canadian plywood with heavy internal bracing for reduced
resonance and durability. The Y118S also includes a flush, top-mounted stand
adapter for optional speaker pole mounting.
Performance Series cabinets come with Yorkville's standard two year transferable warranty* and are distributed, exclusively in
North America, by Yorkville Sound.
