Cubase 2.8 for Windows
January 18, 1996
Cubase for Windows (Version 2.8) introduces both the enhanced graphic user interface and the comfort of Cubase Score 2.0. Steinberg now offers the full range of the Cubase Sequencing Technology to all musicians who do not need professional score layout and printing for their Windows PC.
The newly designed Arrange Window supports musical creativity even better than before. Carefully implemented use of color provides the best overview of even the most complex musical arrangements. Every aspect of Cubase is about realtime; playing your tracks from a keyboard, switching tracks, editing, arranging and mixing while the music is playing.
And what's more, Cubase users can find unique tools such as the Interactive Phrase Synthesizer, which is responsible for a whole bunch of chart entries, CueTrax the graphic tempo and hit point editor and StyleTrax the "virtual Band".
Post-Production is a simple task with Cubase. The AVI-Monitor presents the digital video in the Arrange-Window. You can easily fit your MlDI-Music or even Digital Audio precisely to every single frame. WavePlayer is also Included for digital audio playback on CD-ROM, complete with a library of sounds.
Not forgetting the comprehensive Cubase Editors which give a detailed insight into the very heart of the music. Choose between your favorite editors: Piano-Roll, List, Score or the unique Drum editor. Manipulating large amounts of MlDI-Data is done effortlessly with the help of Logical Edit.
Of course, Cubase for Windows is compatible with Windows 95. MSRP $349.00 For more information, visit their web site at www.steinberg.net. |
