Parker Announces New Fly Classics January 16, 1997
Parker Guitars has further expanded their Fly Classic line of instruments to include two new models: A Fly Classic in a new metallic teal color with an ultra-responsive vibrato bridge, and a Fly Classic with a non-vibrato fixed bridge.
These solid body guitars are crafted from Honduras Mahogany tonewoods chosen for their great response and sustain, and are extremely light in weight. Both instruments come equipped with magnetic humbucking and active piezo pickup systems enabling the guitar to go from electric to acoustic sounds, as well as any combination.
The Fly Classic in the new teal color, as well as the Fly Classic non-vibrato fixed bridge instrument, both feature spring-tempered, stainless-steel frets, Locking Sperzel® tuning machines, a Fishman®, active-piezo pickup system and DiMarzio® humbuckers, which allow the guitarist ultimate flexibility in playing. Both guitars feature controls for master volume, magnetic tone, magnetic volume, piezo volume, and piezo tone. A three-position humbucker selector gives the option of neck, bridge or neck/bridge inside coils for that "in-between" sound.
The teal colored Fly Classic lists for $2715.00, and the non-vibrato fixed bridge Fly Classic list price ranges from $2715.00 to $2950.00. The prices include a hard-shell, molded Hiscox case. Both instruments are available immediately. For more information, visit their web site at www.parkerguitars.com. |
