PRESS RELEASE

New Axis A "Hammer" Single & Double Pedals from Engineered Percussion

January 29, 1998

Since it was first introduced, in 1990, and with over 40,000 sold, the AXIS A has established performance standards that all other pedals have tried to live up to. Now in 1998, the new AXIS A Hammer is about to set a new standard for performance and power that will take pedal technology in to the next millennium.

Axis A "Hammer" Single pedal

Significant changes to the AXIS A include the addition of the revolutionary NEW "Sonic Hammer" variable stroke beater for added power and adjustability, an extended HEX axle that allows for easy conversion to a double pedal and use of additional accessories, and a new hi-tech Brushed aluminum finish.

The patented variable drive lever allows the player to obtain the feel of any type of pedal with one simple adjustment. The new "Beater forward" design substantially increases the power of the AXIS "All without making it feel heavier resulting in an increase of both speed and punch from both heel-up and heel-down players.

Suggested Retail Price: AX-AH -- $279.00

Axis A2 "Hammer" Double pedal

The A2H is double version of the NEW AXIS A "HAMMER". The new and improved drive shaft linkage was specifically designed to maintain the all ball bearing action which sets the AXIS double pedals apart from anything else in the industry. The universal joints feature a "zero backlash" design which transfers the power from the slave side to the primary side with the maximum transfer of torque, rebound and sensitivity.

Suggested Retail Price: AX-A2H -- $659.00
