World Standard Drumheads New From Ludwig
January 29, 1998In addition to Ludwig Weather Master Drumheads, Ludwig is now offering the World Standard Drumheads. These heads are made in the USA, and fit all brands and makes of drums, worldwide. Bass drumheads range from 18" to 26" diameters in double ply batters and the economy Universal single ply in clear and coated. Front bass drumheads are also available.
Tom and snare drumheads range from 6" to 18" diameters in single & double ply models in both clear & coated, plus an economy Universal coated batter. Tom bottom heads also compliment the line and provide a thin bottom head for maximum projection. Snare side heads are available in 10" to 14" diameters.
According to Ludwig Marketing Manager, Jim Catalano, "Ludwig's World Standard Drumheads offer a great alternative to our line of Weather Master Heads that feature mechanical headlock system. World Standard Heads are secured with epoxy in the channel and sized for all drums."
