Peavey Debuts 210TXFTM and 410TXFTM Bass Enclosures January 29, 1998
Peavey Electronics Corporation is pleased to introduce the latest versions of the popular 210TXTM and 410TXTM bass enclosures, the 210TXFTM and 410TXFTM, which offer the same Kevlar®-impregnated 10" woofers and horn tweeters as the originals. The 210TXF and 410TXF feature larger, front-mounted ports that provide extensive low end improvement and less distortion. The crossovers have been specifically redesigned to improve clarity and articulation, providing better midrange definition and more accurate highs.
The 210TXF and 410TXF also feature high frequency level controls that allow the amount of high frequency content to be tailored for any style playing or any particular sound. Custom-designed high frequency protection circuits are included to help prevent tweeter damage. The 210TXF is rated at 4 ohms and is capable of handling input power of up to 350 watts; the 410TXF is rated at 4 ohms and is capable of handling input power of up to 700 watts. The useable low end limit of both enclosures is an impressive 30 Hz.
Full range 1/4" inputs are provided, and the 210TXF and 410TXF come complete with heavy-duty, black carpet covering and heavy-duty recessed handles. Also, the mechanical design features custom matrix bracing, which reduces wall movement and improves air flow in the enclosures. For more information, visit their web site at www.peavey.com. |
