In the last two years, the Trace Elliot V-Type range has established itself as the new standard in valve bass amplification. The distinctive look and sound of the V-Type heads and cabs are now the choice of many touring professionals looking for a vintage approach to modern bass playing and easy access to smooth, expansive bass tones.
The immensely popular V6 and V4 all valve heads are now joined by two MOSFET powered cousins, the 600H and 300H. Whilst these heads feature the same V-Type valve preamp as the V6, the power sections are 600 and 300 watt MOSFET units respectively, designed for maximum performance and extreme reliability. The all valve preamp features inputs for passive or active basses, an input gain control and a flexible, passive three band EQ with extra tonal shaping available via the deep and bright switches and the pull shift on the mid control. The balanced DI is switchable pre or post EQ, whilst a line out and serial effects loop are situated on the rear panel.
The 600H and 300H represent the perfect opportunity for those on a tighter budget to enjoy the benefits of the V-Type range.

Speaker Cabinets
Whilst any of our larger speaker enclosures complement the V-Type heads, there are three cabinets in particular that lend themselves tonally and visually to a V-Type rig. The 1084 (8x10"), 1248H (4x12") and the new 1528 (2x15") are now available with cloth fronts to
perfectly match the V6, V4, 600H and 300H.
