Mackie Unveils Real Time OS Version 2.0 for Digital 8-Bus

Mackie Designs Inc. (NASDAQ: MKIE)
today announced the introduction of Mackie Real Time OS Version 2.0 software for
the acclaimed Digital 8 Bus mixing console. Mackie's Real Time Operating System is
the unique, high-speed system software running all functions of the D8B. Version
2.0 for the D8B is a significant new upgrade that is truly feature-laden and is made
available at no charge to the user.

4 bands of full 20Hz to 20 kHz Parametric,

- Surround Bus Solo Isolate,
- Record Safe,
- Gorgeous new Fat Channel Overview Window,
- Compressor and Gate Input, Output and Reduction Metering,
- Channel list that includes MIDI send and receive commands on all 97 faders (over
4 banks),
- Linking of multiple consoles.
