Miroslav Vitous To Debut New World Class Libraries
For NemeSys(TM) Gigasampler®Premiere Miroslav Vitous Symphonic Orchestra and Keyboard Series libraries enhanced to leverage award winning NemeSys sampling system. January 28, 1999Miroslav Vitous and Marcati Distribution today will demonstrate three new sample
libraries specifically designed for the NemeSys GigaSampler system. Designed
to maximize the large sample capacity, high polyphony and audiophile 32 bit
signal processing capabilities of the NemeSys system, these libraries bring
the world famous collections to a new level of quality and usability.
Greatly improving the realism in dynamic performance, for the first time the
new libraries include the natural release resonance from each instrument ensemble
in their acoustic concert hall environment. Thus, when any note is released
the natural decay of the instruments, including their ambient environment, is
heard correctly. Otherwise, without the samples of note releases, artificial
damping of the environment is noticeable, which has traditionally been an identifying
limitation of sample playback. The libraries also greatly benefit from the enormous
sample capacity of the NemeSys sampling system, allowing entire sections or
even the entire CD to be loaded into the sampler with all samples being instantly
available for performance within complex orchestrations.
The new GigaSampler libraries include the String Ensembles and Woodwinds and
Brass collections from the Symphonic Orchestra series samples, and the new Keyboard
Series featuring a New Generation of sounds.
During the NAMM show, Miroslav Vitous will be appearing in person at booth #W1515 to answer questions about the new libraries. "We believe that these
samples are the most realistic known to date", said Miroslav Vitous. "The
release triggered samples have added to the realism and the GigaSampler's capacity
to have entire sections or entire CD's loaded at once creates a productive and
inspiring environment for scoring professionals. The pristine 32 bit processing
and 24 bit outputs help bring out the real warmth and character of the Symphonic
Orchestra samples."
Having the largest sampling capacity of any commercially available sampler,
the GigaSampler now has many sound quality and time saving advantages that add
production value and creativity to music and sound effect productions from industry
leading composers. "GigaSampler is a REAL innovation compared to everything
else out there. I would not have made my latest deadline if it weren't for this
tool," said Scott Gilman, L.A. based composer for prime time television
series '7 Days' on UPN (Paramount Television). "Now with the multi-outputs
and features in the new version (v1.5) GigaSampler is truly unmatched."
Miroslav Vitous was a founding member of the legendary jazz group, Weather
Report. He has created the critically acclaimed "Virtual Symphony"
series of sample libraries which have set the standard for Orchestral samples
heard in feature films, television shows, and other music productions throughout
the world.
