SF-6514D Steve Ferrone Signature Snare Drum by Pearl, is a reflection

The heart of the SF-6514D is its precision-formed brass shell with center bead
for strength and enhanced high-frequency projection. Brass tube lugs complement
the shell and allow it to vibrate openly for superb resonance and tone. Road
proven SuperHoop II and SR-017 strainer round out the SF-6514D's componentry.
The shell is plated in lustrous black nickel. The "ball-ends" of
the lugs are 24K gold plated with contrasting chrome-plated tubes. This "two-tone"
treatment is continued to the strainer and butt plate. Finishing the ensemble
are the 24K gold plated hoops. The total effect is stunning making the SF-6514D
is a one the most beautiful drums ever produced.
