| Peavey Introduces the CEL 2 Dynamics Processor

January 28, 1999 Peavey Electronics Corporation is pleased to announce the release
of the CEL 2 dual compressor/expander limiter. This single rack unit can be
operated as two independent compressors or as a synced stereo compressor with
true RMS summing.
FEATURES:
- Two channels which can be used in dual mono or linked stereo mode
- Expander/gate with adjustable threshold and ratio - can be used as a downward
expander (low ratio setting), a gate (high ratio setting), or in between
- Soft knee compressor has a full range of adjustments including threshold,
ratio, attack, and release controls
- Limit is separate from the compressor and has its own active LED
- Gain reduction meters function for all expander, compressor, and limit activities
and indicate the VCA status
- Side-chain insert doubles as a ducker without the need for repatching
- Balanced and unbalanced inputs and outputs
- Can use a single stereo shielded cable to connect to the channel insert
of any Peavey mixer
- Twelve segment LED meters for gain reduction and output levels
- True RMS summing in stereo linked mode
- Hard wired bypass for each channel
- Internal power supply
