Roland Introduces CPM-300 Powered Mixer January 28, 1999Roland Corporation is proud to introduce the CPM-300
Powered Mixer-a compact mixer employing Roland's breakthrough ECOS technology
in its power amplifier section for a lightweight design with improved efficiency
and response.
Although lightweight, the CPM-300 boasts substantial power: 2 channels at 150W
(4 Ohms) or 100W (8 Ohms). There are 10 input/mixing channels (6 mono, 2 stereo
line-level) with 2-band EQ per channel, and an XLR input on Channel 1. Low-noise
preamps and high-grade components throughout provide an extremely clean, powerful
sound.
Roland's new "ECOS" (Efficiency Control Operation System) technology
is the "heart" of the CPM-300's high-efficiency amplifier section.
ECOS employs a control circuit that simultaneously monitors signal level and
amplifier operating conditions to optimize power "intelligently."
The result is a lightweight amplifier that consumes half the power of a conventional
unit while generating only one third the heat.
Other CPM-300 features include digital reverb-with Echo, Hall, Stage and Room
presets-and Roland's built-in Anti-Feedback processing, which can be used to
automatically eliminate feedback before a performance via the Auto Adjust mode,
or during the performance with Dynamic Adjust mode. For more information, visit Roland on the web at www.rolandus.com. |
