New Sony Power Amp and Speaker Systems January 28, 1999Sony Electronics featured several new tools for the sound reinforcement professional
at NAMM, including the SRP-P50 power amplifier, and the SRP-S720 and SRP-S320W
speaker systems designed for both music and speech reproduction.
"The SRP-P50 power amp is a real workhorse," said Paul Foschino,
marketing manager of professional audio products for Sony Electronics' Broadcast
and Professional Company. "The anti-vibration and anti-flux construction
helps to make this unit an excellent sonic performer. The SRP-S720 and S320W
speaker systems provide audiences with the sound levels required for dynamic
reproduction, while a built-in limiting circuit reduces the possibility of overload
damage."
SRP-P50 Features
- Power output of 75W+75W (40 load) in a compact 1 U-size body
- High-caliber toroidal transformer
- BTL connections (so unit can be configured as a monaural amplifier with
an output of 150W into 8 ohms.
- Symmetrical circuit provides a high supply voltage rejection ratio and stability
- Input level switchable between 0dBu and -10dBu
- 1 U high mountable in 19 inch EIA standard rack

- 110 watts rated RMS power (300 watts peak)
