BitHeadz to Support Audio Unit Interface in Mac OS X December 21, 2002
BitHeadz has announced their intention to add support for
OSX Audio Units into future software releases.
Earlier this year BitHeadz introduced support for OSX. Since then, they
have added support for the latest OS 10.2 system as well. The next step in
OSX support will be the ability to work with Apple's OSX solution to
processing audio.
Currently, BitHeadz Unity 3.0 products, Phrazer 2.0 and Phrazer LE programs
have OS X support in stand-alone mode. Now that sequencing programs are
making their way into OSX, the new feature will allow users to integrate with
current OSX compatible sequencers, like Logic, that support audio units.
Audio units support will one of the features in the Unity 3.1 update.
Version 3.1 is expected for release in the first quarter of 2003. The update
will be free for download to all current Unity Session, Unity DS-1 and Unity
AS-1 3.0 users. For more information, visit their web site at www.bitheadz.com. |
