Free Software Editor for the UA-700

Edirol Corporation is pleased to announce
the release of a new
software editor for the UA-700. The UA-700 Editor is a free update available
for download from the Edirol web site (Mac and PC) and adds a variety of new capabilities to the
already powerful UA-700.
The UA-700 Editor has an intuitive user interface that offers complete
software control for all effect
parameters available on the UA-700. The UA-700 Editor augments the
capabilities of the UA-700 by allowing
the user to save and load as many different effect arrangements as he or she
wishes. Furthermore, patches can
be saved and loaded as MIDI files for implementing effect changes through
even the most basic sequencers.
One of the benefits of the UA-700 Editor is the ability to share patches
amongst the growing community of
UA-700 users. This is especially helpful for new users who want to quickly
learn the power of the UA-700 by
trying patches that more experienced users have already put

About the UA-700
The UA-700 is a USB device includes a MIDI
interface with
24bit/96 kHz audio processing, along with COSM Mic/Guitar-Amp
modeling. It is a
complete input/output solution for both Audio and MIDI via USB. It can
emulate premium
microphones and a variety of Guitar Amps. It is designed to accept inputs
from a number of sources,
with connections like XLR, 1/4", RCA, S/PDIF Optical & COAX, and MIDI. In
addition to the
Microphone & Guitar Amp models it has a number of other features including;
microphone, guitar, &
phono preamps, Phantom Power, -20dB pad, compressor, de-esser, noise
suppressor, EQ, Chorus,
Reverb, Center Cancel, 6 internal memory locations, and transport control. It can also be used as a
standalone A/D converter or as an effects box for the performer.
