Washburn International has appointed Bruce Egnater as Chief Engineer. Bruce will head up all design and engineering duties at Washburn International, for Randall Amplification & SoundTech Professional audio. Bruce will lead the engineering and design of all new and current production products, as well as oversee the technical repair department.

Randall has been working with Bruce on a contracted basis to consult on several of our amps since 1995, with Doug Reynolds taking over as General Manager in 2000, the decision was made to hire Bruce full time. Doug says, "We are extremely excited to have Bruce on board. His knowledge and experience in amplifier design is second to none, and we feel Bruce will help us to reach every goal we set as a company."

Recently, Randall has licensed the Modular technology designs from Mr. Egnater, in which it will continue to expand and introduce additional products, including new Modular heads and combos. Randall will continue to expand the modular line with new preamp modules, and additional plans are for new tube and solid-state amplifiers from Randall in the near future. Don't rule out Randall Custom shop boutique models built by Bruce as well in the future.

Currently, Randall and Egnater are finalizing new products for NAMM release in January. Bruce's expertise is also being utilized to update and revamp the SoundTech electronic and cabinet lines as well.
