Armadillo Enterprises Acquires ddrum Brand March 4, 2005
Clavia has sold the ddrum brand to the US distributor Armadillo
Enterprises, citing the desire to concentrate their efforts behind the Nord brand of products.
"We think this is a good move for Clavia because it will
allow us to focus on our main business, the keyboard business and the
Nord brand" says Hans Nordelius, Managing Director of Clavia.
"We will work aggressively to broaden our range of keyboard
products and strengthen our position as a leading Keyboard and
Synthesizer brand in the world market" says Micael Hamberg Marketing
manager of Clavia.
Elliott Rubinson, president of Armadillo states "We are very happy to
have acquired this great brand. The first thing that we have done is
launch a very competitive line of acoustic drums at the Winter Namm
show. We will continue with Ddrum triggers and are currently working on
a new electronic kit"
